BEST PAPERS FOR ORIGAMI
Many people who are new to origami ask me what’s the best paper to fold and make figures. The short answer is that all papers are potentially good to use for origami. One of the basic characteristics of paper widely considered good for origami is being thin and crisp.
If you are a novice, white or colored office paper is appropriate. This paper is readily available, it can be used as a rectangle or easily cut into a square, and it folds well for simple or intermediate origami models.

keep in mind that accuracy, attention to edges and guidelines, and not rushing to set a crease are probably as important as the choice of paper. Be willing and open to explore and learn from experience.
2 – TIPS ON USING PAPER FOR DIFFERENT OCCASIONS
Origami is for sharing, creating, and paying homage to important moments in life. Keep in mind that you might use the same origami figure for several different moments, which will be represented by the papers you choose to use.

3- COMMERCIAL ORIGAMI PAPER SOURCES
If you are new to origami, begin by using paper that is a solid color on one side and white on the other. Solid color papers facilitate spotting the guidelines as you learn a model. Once you have some experience, try patterned papers.
