Daniela Carboni – Whimsical and Unique Creativity with Origami

Daniela Carboni is an Italian origami creator and a member of Centro Diffusione Origami (1997-present).
She has a degree in aerospace engineering and is employed as the head of the Quality System Improvement department within the Italian aero industry.

Daniela started folding paper at age 3 and especially loved to fold paper boats and airplanes. She received her first origami book when she was 5 and has been creating her own origami models since 1994. Video Tutorial – Frog on Square

This gem of a frog is one of those charming and ingenious origami creatures. Folded with one piece of paper, it looks like it is clinging to a square piece of paper. It was designed by Daniela Carboni (Italy).
The folding process is meditative and pleasantly repetitive. What we do with one corner, we must repeat three more times, except at the end when as if by magic, a head and four legs are formed.
